Welcome to Hike and Click, a site dedicated to capturing the natural beauty of Scotland through hiking and photography. My name is Kenneth Sutherland, and I’m a photographer based in Scotland who has a passion for exploring the great outdoors.
My love for hiking began many many years ago, since then I’ve explored countless trails throughout Scotland. As I became more interested in photography, I realised that hiking was the perfect way to capture the beauty of Scotland’s landscapes. With each hike, I challenge myself to find new perspectives and capture unique moments in nature.
My goal with Hike and Click is to share my passion for hiking and photography with others, and to inspire people to get out and explore Scotland’s beautiful wilderness. Whether you’re a seasoned hiker or a photography enthusiast, I hope that my photos and stories will encourage you to take the leap and embark on your own adventures.
I’ve now set up a online shop/printing service should anyone wish to print or download my images which can be accessed here.
Also as an aside, if you also like taking photos, I can’t recommend enough the pleasure that seeing your own work in a hard copy gives. It’s great to take time to organise them and then get some printed!
Who am I
I’m Kenneth — the photographer behind Hike and Click. I specialise in capturing people in real and expressive moments, often set against the backdrop of Scotland’s stunning outdoors. Whether it’s a styled shoot by a waterfall, portraits in forest light, or natural light studio sessions, I work to bring out the unique personality of each model while letting the setting breathe into the image.
I offer a relaxed, collaborative approach and often shoot on a TFP basis with models looking to build creative portfolios that blend fashion, portraiture, and nature. If you’re open to exploring a mix of storytelling and scenic beauty, let’s shoot something memorable.
